Well this summer I had a very moving summer that brought me closer to God and i relised it is a choice and that it is a sin. Well my friend is trying to convice me that im ment to be bi and I shouldnt change for God and she doesnt get that i feel it is my choice and i dnt wanna be bi and i dnt regret becoming striaight. But she is my best friend and i really do not want to lose her. What should i do to talk to her. | |

there are 2 things i things you should understand
1, you shouldn't be mad at your friends for what she believe at all. its what she thinks about god so don't try to talk her out of it 2, you have to look her right in the eye and tell her what you think and to stop, if she keeps going (i know this sounds immature) but try not talking to her for a while, just so she knows you mean business.

Andrew, I'm not going with either opinion but has it even proven to be true that you're born bi/gay/straight/whatever? But I like what you said about God loving us no matter what.
But I myself have had a really interesting conversation with a camp group I was with a couple months ago. Someone said that if you look at the biased attitudes of a lot of people within the past couple hundred years, compare that to how it was a couple thousand years ago, slavery, prejudice/bias, etc was around back then, who's to say that homosexuality/bisexuality is even a sin? I personally believe that God wouldn't damn someone to Hell just because of something so silly as who they . There is not a lick of sense in that. Even modern times have a hell of a lot of problems concerning social groups, social classes, race, sexuality etc. But saying being gay is a sin is like comparing it to murdering someone out of cold blood.
But if you don't know who you truly like, find out, it'll come to you sometime in life, no need to decide so early in life. Whether you're bi/gay/straight doesn't matter in my opinion, and I'm sure God would accept you none the less.
I hope I ed. | |
