What is a dream?
i would like to know,
is it purpose?
or just a picture our imagination shows?
Is it any more than what our heart desires?
Or is it what makes our heart pound,
to where it feels like your walking on a wire?
Can it come true?
Or are we stupid for wanting?
For needing?
for wishing?
Will it make me happy?
Or improve my life?
Or will it be my death?
stabbed with a knife?
If i am a failure trying,
to make my dreams come true,
what will happen to me?
what will happen with you?
am i in your way?
for chasing your own dream?
but we dont really chase it,
now do we?
we more like search,
for what makes us happy,
and whats best,
for you and me.
Am i your dream?
and are you really mine?
or are we settling,
for whats here in time?
Whatever it is,
this thing we call a dream,
even though it causes questions,
it has to be amazing.
