The Harry Potter Series!!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I those books!!!!!!!!!!!! Those are the ONLY full length novels that I will actually sit down and read on my own free will, and ENJOY THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read no other books but those!!!! All other books I read are forced for school, and any other time I sit down and read for pleasure, I usually read magazines.

Um... The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was great *grins histerically* Douglas Adams in general. And probably some Sherri S. Tepper books as well ( that social commentary) Stefan Donaldson's two "Thomas Convenant" trilogies were fantastic. (if I got the name wrong, don't hurt me) But I still the Trainspotting book!!! Who writes a whole book IN a Scottish accent??? It's so it hurts... George Orwell (both 'Animal Farm' and '1984') will always be interesting... or am I just a political nerd? And many H.P. Lovecraft stories are fascinating, if hard to read.
As you can see... I don't have favourite books. I have favourite authors.

Oh! And the unforgettable story of "Wendell, His Cat, and the Progress of Man". It's the most beautiful story in the world. Google it. I found the whole story p ocopied onto a website. It's author isn't about to press copyright charges... he isn't that kind of guy.

Douglas Adams was brilliant, may he rest in peace. If you like him, I wholeheartedly recommend Terry Pratchett. Another fantastic author (and very recently deceased) is the very talented, literary acid trip Hunter S. Thompson. I also like:
Samuel Beckett Edgar Allan Poe (especially the Fall of the House of Usher, the Cask of Amontillado) Les Liasons Dangereuses really anything by Voltaire
I'm a big Hemingway fan too. And nobody should go through adolescence without reading Catcher in the Rye or On the Road by Kerouac. Ferenheit 451 is really good too.
