Legacy - Cayla Kluver
Legacy by Cayla Kulver is a period-history love story. There is an underlying war story, so it may be included in many different genres. Our main star, Princess Alera, is being forced to marry a devilish and hot-tempered Steldor, whom she has no feelings for, and she falls for the mysterious Narian who. .. bada-boom, bada-bing... happens to be from the neighboring country, which happens to be the enemy country. Does this sound even the least bit fresh? Not really!
The back cover states the story is written by a 16 year old, so kudos for being published at such a young age - but the story was so slow I never got into the book and the story left little room for the reader's curiosity. Not my favorite book, but if you're into castles and love stories, this may be a good read for you.
