"Blue Moon" - By Alyson Noel
Blue Moon by Alyson Noel really exceeded my expectations. I was once again, expecting some vampie knock-off, poorly written, etc. - but to my surprise (and delight!) the book is written exceptionally well. I finished the book wanting to know more - and Blue Moon is the second book in her series, "The Immortal Series".
We find ourselves in an outcasts world, a girl rescued from death by a guy who has pursued her for 400+ years - and this time, successfully converts her to an immortal. A new guy at school has everyone buzzing - and things begin to be different than they were before. Jocks are suddenly getting along with nerds, etc... and Ever, the main character's immortal boyfriend starts to act strange as well. Somehow, and I won't spoil how, everything begins to tie together - and Ever finds herself trying to get things back to normal - and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there!
I highly suggest the Immortals series by Alyson Noel - if nothing else, her fresh take and wonderful writing makes this a good read.
