Need  - by Carrie Jones
I received “Need” by Carrie Jones, and needless to say, I was expecting another “Twilight” knock-off. Instead, I got a different side of the paranormal world, which I will admit made me laugh at first – the idea of savage pixies seems nonsensical. The werewolves seemed “real” enough – but the savage pixies seemed even a little too far fetched for fiction.

It does seem to take a little bit from “Twilight”. For example, the main character moves into this new town (Forks, anyone?), she's generally an outcast and shy at first (Bella calling!), gets into a car accident to really meet her true love. .. on and on. But the story is good, it is written relatively well and is an easy and exciting read. I would recommend it if you just can't get your paranormal fix from “Twilight!”
