Jargon Buster
I read this article on jargon in The Times newspaper in the UK and I thought the teens on this web site may find it of interest too.
Buff: Atractive, eg, He is buff. Flossing: Showing off material possessions, eg, I worked all last weekend so now I'm flossing. Nang: Brilliant, eg, That music is nang. Neeky: Nerdy or out of fashion, eg, You are so neeky. On your jays: On your own. Rents: Parents, eg, I have to go on holiday with my rents. Rinsed: Overused, eg, That excuse is so rinsed. Suck: To steal, eg, My phone got sucked.
I would luv to hear other teen terms from other countries! Thanks!!
