Spiderman
I have to admit, that I was never a fan of Spiderman.  When I was younger, it was always a big deal whether you were a DC or Marvel fan, and you couldn't be both, so since I was a Batman fan I was automatically a DC fan.  It wasn't until I saw previews for the movie that I thought that Spiderman seemed pretty cool.  It's kind of funny, cause even though I like Tobey Macguire, I would have never thought about him for Spiderman, although I know little about the character's background.  But when I saw the previews it looked like an exciting movie, and it looked like Tobey was a good choice.  I have yet to see the movie, but I'm really looking forward to it!  I played the computer game (not based on the movie), and it was really cool and alot of fun, which is probably when I first got an interest in Spiderman to begin with.  So, though, I don't know if the DC vs Marvel thing is still a big deal with huge fans, but I personally like them both now.  And after seeing X-men, I'm actually leaning more towards Marvel than DC.  Just my opinion though :)

I like batman because he's more realistic, he has no super powers but uses what he has to it's full potential. But I hate the fact that he buys every type of weapon under the sun. I mean if I could whip out a grappling hook and swing to another building then I could, but I'd rather have a little more of a super hero quality. I was never too fond of DC heroes, that is until I saw a Sgt. Rock issue. It's an old comic based in world war II, it's like Saving Private Ryan, only there was a different adventure in each issue. And then I saw Green Lantern, he kicks ass. I immeadietly :)d the series after reading his oath:

In brightest day, in darkest night, no evil shall escape my sight. To those who worship evil's might, beware my power... Green Lantern's light!

It had such an awesome "old time" super hero quality. But if I were to choose, I'd say Marvel is better. I mean you can't beat Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, Captain America, Spiderman, Punisher, Daredevil, and the X-men.

But if you're looking for more realistic heroes, I definently recommend The Call of Duty. It's a really good series. There are two series that are linked in it, first is the Brotherhood (firemen) and second is the Precinct (police). All based in NYC. And I promise you, it's very interesting and fun to read. A real page-turner.

Sorry but Batman kicks ass and he is the best. The Spiderman wasn't great, it was good but not great. X-Men was pretty poor as well. Nothing campares to Batman when it comes to superhero films.
